For me this was my second Yamato High School reunion, and I discovered that even though it was equally as much fun, I was left with a new set of emotions. I came away from the last reunion not able to stop laughing, and I came away from this reunion not able to stop crying. Seeing my friends once again from the last reunion, and seeing more friends for the very first time was an overwhelming experience. We are all two years older now and a lot had happened since the last reunion. I would like to touch upon each and every one of the people I connected with, so as I grow older I can read this and relive my Yamato High School reunion. Only you, Yamatoites can fully understand why I place such importance on my Japan memories. For those of you who may read this, please keep in mind that this is written freely from my heart and not much time has been put into the editing. I just wanted to get my experience written down while everything is still fresh and strong in my mind.
For this reunion, I was Decorating Coordinator, and had 15 wonderful volunteers who made me proud as my eyes covered the results of their long hours of hard work on their projects. I plan to always volunteer my help to keep our reunions going and anxiously wait for more of our friends to find us. I put my own life on hold while I became obsessed with my Yamato High School reunion, but now I must step back and not lose touch with my wonderful life and the bright future I have ahead of me.
