®This was not the best Warrior season for basketball. With the change in coaching at midyear from Coach Elliot to Coach Abner, the team was faced with split philosophies. Trying to defend last year's second place finish in the All Far East Basketball Championships was all but impossible for the Varsity Cagers. Lacking height, as well as the return of only one letterman showed in the score box. Preseason action handed the Warriors a fourth place finish in the Kanto Christmas Classic at ASIJ. But during the regular season play, the Warriors felt depression and defeat. But maybe this season's experience will spark next year's hopefuls for the Varsity Team.
